Re: cleaningthe BBQ hot plate
After 3 yrs it will be Lobster and Bubbly if I ever finish.
Took a weeks holiday after booking a month ago and today was the first day could paint as has rained nearly every day apart from the other day when was 36 deg. . Always some place that needs redoing but hopefully my days of sanding epoxy are over.
The first coat was done by brush as was eager to get done and cut edges in but hopefully by next week will be dry enough to give a good final sanding with 240 grit and coat with a roller.
Next will be repairing the trailer as last time used the axle bearing squealed and wheel was too hot to tuch .Lucky only had to bring boat from boat ramp down the road.
Am thinking of buying a new trailer so any recommendations would be handy.
local place that sold Brooker trailers could not be bothered even discussing if different fittings could be attached so wont be getting my business.
My trailer is a home made job made from round gal pipe but draw bar is too short with boat right up close to car .
Will keep updated.Ian
