Big Plunge gets Laughs at Sorrento Boat Ramp

Several onlookers including my Sister-in-law were laughing in fits after seeing "Little Pearls" Skipper (me) take the big plunge after stepping back of the concrete edge of Sorrento boat ramp. In an effort to guide the LP up on her trailer, I was at the rear trying to line her up for the final winch onto the trailer. My brother was on the winch calling ... yep.. steady,, Hazza move further back..no no..step further back , further back.. The next thing I knew I was under about 8 feet of water complete with my driving glasses still on and my hat floating above me. When I popped back up gasping for air like a human cork, all I could hear were belly laughs from all around the boat ramp.Lets Just say..the laughs were on me but later I got a few of my own watching fellow "incoming" struggle getting their boats back by not having stern lines, slipping over on ramp slime, cord tangles, gear falling into the drink off the ramp, screaming curses at boats and trailers.. - the list goes on
